APNIC EC ELECTION - NOMINATIONS

All nominations are listed on this website after the Electoral Committee confirms the nominee is able and willing to serve on the APNIC EC. Nominations may be changed after the Electoral Committee completes its assessment of whether a nominee is eligible to serve on the APNIC EC.

The final list of nominees, in the order their nominations were received, is:

• Sumon Ahmed Sabir
• Karla Stokes
• Kam Sze Yeung
• Vincent “Achie” Atienza

Hernan Gibran Ramadhan withdrew their candidacy on 29 January 2026 at 13:54 (UTC+10). The nominee’s name was removed from the ballot at 14:28 (UTC+10), 28 minutes after voting had opened. No votes had been cast in the election at the time of the nominee’s removal from the ballot.

Nominees do not have to be representatives of APNIC Members; however, only APNIC Members may make nominations. APNIC Members are welcome to nominate a representative of their own organization. The APNIC Member's Corporate Contact must authorize the nomination. Each APNIC Member can only nominate one individual in accordance with section 34 of the APNIC By-laws.

The Electoral Committee will have oversight of the eligibility and conduct of nominees in the EC election. For further information click here.
